How can i sweep cut along this 3d sketch (in light blue) all i could get it to do was the first segment..

Then i need to mirror it over also.. any pro's on here know a way to do this? I posted this question once before here:

it has more pictures.. thanks in advance

yea i tried that but it does not snap to an "intersection" there is no option to draw on that intersection without just "eyeballing" it. my path is good, but i get an error if i try to select any other line segments besides the first..

the box by the first red arrow lets me select the first segment and sweep along it but not the rest...

the box by the second red arrow i tried selecting all the segments but its not letting me either...

I could post the file i suppose but i would rather just email it directly or figure it out without having to do so...

If it's a proprietary part, cut off the uninvolved bits and save it as a parasolid (with the path sketch).

I cant figure out how to do that with the path included...when i save as a parasolid how do i include a sketch?

Attached is a modified part. In the 3D sketch there was an extra line segment that I deleted. Then did a fit spline on the curves. Created a plane that was perpendicular to the end of your 3D sketch. Pierced the center of a circle to the 3D sketch. Swept cut. I hope this helps.

Yea here is my progress: I got mine to work by moving the plane of my profile sketch to a slightly different location. Then played with the sweep cut some more... :

that is ok if i just want to extrude a circle shape but i wanted to do a rectangle with one end radius-ed and have it twist to stay perpendicular to the surface it was cutting... I have no clue how to make that one happen. There are some options on the sweep cut for twisting but none of them worked for me.. but this works for now. Thanks guys.
