Anyone out there ever purchased parts for "CALDARO" (made in Sweden) joysticks (used on forestry equipment)?...or know where to buy replacement units? Thanks!

Been there...but they don't answer e-mail...or tell you where to buy in N.A.

I will be close to their place Wednesday. I can see if there are any people at the office and, if not dead, make them contact you. Some companies haven't yet understood that e-mail is mail, too.

Have you tried info@caldaro.com?

I just talked to Jenny Sandman at the Swedish mother company. You can reach her at +46 87361288. Remember: European office hours.

Or tell me what you need and I will talk to her. She is a nice lady.

Yes...I tried that address, the .co.uk and the .se but no replies at all. My e-mails said...Can you tell me where I could get replacement potentiometers for one of your joysticks? The joystick has 2 potentiometers. The model number is S50JAK-ZU-30R3G-5700A. The "K" may be incorrect as the label is damaged. Date is ?/01 no.111 The case is marked 4.4k ohms. Can I buy these potentiometers in Canada? Can I buy the entire joystick?
Thank you Skogsgurra, for helping!

Good title fo a porno movie :)

Hello again.

They are checking their info@caldaro.com mail. Seems they haven't got any mails there for some time. So probably a problem.

Contact Jenny Sandman at her address directly. We are not supposed to use mail addresses here, but if you use the same address as the info address but use "jesa" (for Jenny Sandman) instead of "info", she will forward your question to the right person.

She is really nice. Now she says I am cute that care about this. I wonder where this will end?

Thanks skogsgurra...isn't the internet wonderful! Good luck! ;)

She has got her own web-mates. She told me about one of them today "And he has a fantastic home-page. Full of interesting historic facts. And he has got humor too!"

I wonder where it will end...

You should have been at the Nürnberg meeting the other week, Gunnar was in full flow chatting up MarkE's wife (who had just woken up in New Zealand) on the phone (MarkE's mobile). He was in full flow, I was impressed. Especially as gunnar's dear wife was sat next to him.

See? That's what happens when you try to be nice to people. There is always someone to misinterpret. MarkE got a call from his wife and handed the phone over to me. What could I do? Being rude? Saying that I could not talk to her because my wife was present? From what age or planet are you guys?

Actually, I told her that we had a nice evening with beer and wurstchen and that Mark behaved unexpectedly well. I also handed the phone over to my wife so that she could say a few words.

OK. I can understand that this is irresistable. "Swedish", "Joystick", talking to strange women. I don't mind if you find it somewhat funny. But I needed to give my view on things. Perhaps not so amusing - but such is life. Not so amusing as one would hope it was.

From my (limited) observation, Swedish women are not all about Pipi Longstocking and Abba. Rent the movie "Montenegro"; the ending is a possible negative outcome to "where will it all end?" when it comes to Swedish housewives (warning, very racy movie).

That said, I have met Gunnar's wife and would never suspect anything heinous. Then again, they say it's the quiet ones you have to watch!

I'm burning all my Pippi movies and IKEA furniture...and I'll never eat the meatballs again, or watch the chef on the Muppet Show ever again...unless I can get those joystick parts. They told me to contact John Deere, as the joysticks were made exclusively for their forestry equipment. Any photos of all these women I'm hearing about? ;)
