All,
Can someone verify that the Hole Wizard is working correctly in SW2005? I’m having a problem with the Helicoil Inch portion of the Hole Wizard. It's displaying metric and inch values in the same display panel. I talk with "ctopher" yesterday and he said that the Helicoil Inch was working correctly, but the Helicoil Metric was displaying inch and metric values. What gives? Is there a bug in the hole wizard?

I was planning on moving to SW2005 SP0.1 (this is what I'm using now for test) the 2 week in February. But this might be a show stopper.

Thanks,

the helicoil inch and metric seem to be working fine for me and the two other users here.

It's working ... but look at the depths for a metric helicoil, are they in inches and rest in metric?

heckdogg,
Thanks. Question: Are you on SP 0.1?

Macduff - yes I am on SP0.1,

but I just double checked - before the depth was set to through all, so I didn't notice it shows inches instead of mm for the metric helicoil

Scott,
I'll check that out.

Yesterday, I downloaded and installed SP0.1 from the SW site at lunch. I noticed that it was updating the toolbox items. Is the hole wizard data in that update? Because when I went back to SW2004 SP 4.1 for production, I notice that my toolbox and hole wizard didn't work at all. I had to get the back up files from last week to get it operating again.

I guess what I need to do is to setup a dedicated drive for SW2005 and run everything from there. I've been real careful so far not touching any production stuff in SW2005.
Maybe that's where my problem lies. The SW2004 data is getting messed up with SW2005.

Just want to make sure I'm making the right move when I go to SW2005 and all the portions of the software are working correctly.

Thanks for all your help,
