SW07 freezes when copying exploded view

I have an assembly with 3 config's. I exploded one of the config's. Upon copying (drag & drop) the exploded view to either of the other two config's SW freezes totally. Any ideas why? Is there a better way to explode the other two config's without doing each from scratch?
