There are other limitations of the video card that are not listed. You should always use a card in the green. Then the video card will not be an issue. I haven't had a single user get the Radeon to work yet. Get a card that's in the green then see if you have the same problem.
One thing you could try to rule out a video card is to turn your Software OpenGL on inseide of SW.
1) Open SW
(Don't open a file)
2) Tools\Options\System Options\Performance
3) Check mark
"Software OpenGL"
4) Then try out the process you were doing.
Results:
1) If it works without crashing it's your card.
2) If your option is greyed out make sure no files are open, if not then your card doesn't support OpenGL (in CAD) and the problem is your Card.
3) If it still crashes it might be a SW software issue - but it still doens't completely remove out a video card issue. Try the options below to make sure your install of SW is a clean and good install.
