SW Quad core processor use!!

All,

Does anyone know from SW World or otherwise if SW are thinking of re-writing the code to utilise all cores of a processor rather than just one. I know SW uses more than one core for certain things but not opening files and this is where we have our major performance hit. If they were to re-write the code to ulitise more than 1 core it would speed things up so much.

Yes, they are investigating better utilizing multi-core machines.
