They are shown in help. Do a search.

I have been!! Cant find the icon

The icon looks like a typical part icon, but its in a trimetric view with a green square smaller then that of the one used for assembly icon and shifted up slightly.

It's an assembly which has been set to "flexable"

Describe the icon or show an image.

Thanks, But would still like to have list if anyone has one.

The easy way to do this is to edit your toolbars. Right click your menu area, select toolbars, select the toolbar/features/whatever tab. When you hover over the various icons in each category (or click one) they tell you what they mean.

I think some of us are being thrown by the word "icon," which most users associate with a toolbar icon. From what I can tell this is one of the Feture tree icons like part, assembly, axis, mate, etc. MElam seems to have identified it, but I don't know of a list of such icons anywhere in SW.

I know there shown in Help. Takes time to find them.

In the Help, go to the Index, and type "Flexible". At the bottom is the symbol for Flexible Subassembly you seem to be talking about.

To get a list of feature/function toolbar icons, you can go to Tools, Customize, Command, and get tool tips that show you what they are.

Also if you look in Help under the name of a Toolbar, it lists all the available toolbar icons for that toolbar, with pictures and names.

For other icons, look in these areas of the Help:

- Feature Manager Design Tree
- Icons, Feature Manager
- Assembly, Feature Manager Design Tree

Searching the help works best if you spell flexible correctly like dezignstuff did - instead of using my spelling [purpleface]

Search help for "Toolbars". SW will provide all the available toolbars. If you click each link individually you can see all the available commands with respective icons associated with the commands.

Regards

Unfortunately there is no definitive-all-in-one list supplied with or by SW (that I've found). The icons/symbols/conventions used are scattered throughout the Help files ... and unfortunately you have to know what the icon represents to be able to look it up. Kind of defeats the object, 'coz if you knew what it was you wouldn't need to look it up in the first place!

You could wade through the Help files & compile your own list, but it sure would be nice if SW supplied it. At the very least a "What's this" button would help.
