this may be realy late but dc link in softdesk is a real unstable booger. go to autodesks web page and search for the patch i dont remember exactly how to get to it but its called something like dc4.11. down load and unzip then open the sdsk folder on your c drive then open the sv folder and look for tfr16 you then have to delete that file and replace it with the one in the patch . this one doesnt always work but it works 99% if your program locks up after you have instaled the patch change your computers date to yesterdays date open dc link up/download a couple of jobs then switch back I know this sounds silly I fought this for 2 years then went to teramodel
