I am designing a vessel having support rings (top & bottom) attached to cylindrical part of vessel. The two continuous rings having 2 nos. of gusset plates at 3 points.(Beneath this 3 points pipe legs will be there where this vessel will be landed.
In PV Elite lug input data window "weight of one lug is mentioned". In this column what data actually to be filled in?
As per my understanding is it that [weight of 2 support rings (top & bottom)+weight of gusset plates]/3?
