I have an outsource drawing that I would like to add a part number/document, or say use our own drawing template.
As I aware that if I simply "paste" or import their drawing, might not be a good idea (ethic, IP, ...)
Assume that there is no way to get a raw file from them. The only file I received is in pdf format.
What would be the approach/solution to convert or add a file name (part number)/drawing template in this received drawing?

What standards are you working to?
If ASME, it would probably be best to create a Source Control Drawing which can have your own drawing number assigned to it.

How to create a Source Control drawing? Is there a sample that I could refer?
