Dear all,
could somebody give me a reference number for the thermal conductivity of sulfur in vapor phase?
Any value in a temperature range 450°C-600°C will be fine...
thanks
Francesco

Hi,

There is a book with the title "Handbook of Thermal Conductivity, Volume 4, Inorganic Compounds and Elements" by Carl L. Yaws. There is a chart on page 249.

0.01098 W/(m*°C) @ 1 atm

Let me know if this helps

dear ATMCHemE this will definitely help me.
thanks a lot for your reference.
