I got a diverter at my work place and the problem I am facing is that, I need some equipment that I can use to put the diverter back to its original position after its been done using. Please see the attach picture for reference.

Need a way to put back into original position with a little flick.
Was thinking of attaching a spring behind it. Are there better ways?

Note: If the diverter is sightly diagonal, it doesn't work.
