Suggest me a suitable IC

Dear Engineers and Respected Members:

Can any body direct me to find a single IC or a any other arrangement as a single circuit that can charge, monitor, and test more than one Li-Ion battery at the same time (8.4 V and 12.6 V)?

Use two ICs in two separate charger circuits. You can probably share the input power and send any monitoring signals to a common output. Why make the problem more difficult than it needs to be?

Also check out Texas Instruments. I believe the part series is bq247xx.

Charging multiple lithium cells in series is not for the faint of heart. There are many safety aspects to be aware of. If you can use a single cell, or as Scotty says and charge them seperately, do it. It will save you a lot of headache.

Thanks all for help. Actually, I meant multiple battery charger ( Say 12 batteries)with different voltages. I did the search on the websits you recomended and all IC dealing with a single battery at one time(It could be the battery with multiple cell but this is not my concern) . Nothing mentioned about charging several batterirs each one with 2-3 cells at the same time.

Naw you won't find one of those !

You need separate controllers for eachbattery pack.

Or you will need to use a microcontroller and at least a man-month of time trying to get it right.
