Does anyone have, what might be a standard IEEE quantity, for the X/R ratio, for a 5000kVA, 13.2kV-600V substation transformer? (Dry-type....nothing special)

There is not a standard, but an average X/R for a 5 MVA transformer would be 12. This value is from a graph is the IEEE Red Book.

Gents,

Just got my hands on the Red Book, and found the X/R graph. Thanks.....

Does any one know a good/cheap place to get hands on the set of IEEE Color books?

The books are a wealth of knowledge and were put together with a lot of effort by a extraordinary group of professionals. Chances are you won't find any copies cheap. They are a valued resource to any EE.
So, bottom line, support efforts that put these books together and buy your own copy from IEEE.
