substation TWACS

In the process of rehabbing an existing substation. AMR is controlled by TWACS. The site layout is forcing longer cable runs to the modulation transformer than we would like. Pulling tensions are not a concern, but I would like to know the signal distance limitations between the CRU and the modulation transformer.

The only information that I have is the Substation Communications Equipment (SCE) Reference Materials from DCSI. If the answer is in there, I haven't found it.
So, if anyone can point me in the right direction, I would greatly appreciate it.

TWACS is a power line carrier system that uses signals close to the zero crossing of the voltage.

You'll really need to verify this with the TWACS equipment supplier. You need to get their fingerprints on it, regardless of what anyone else says.

These systems are highly proprietary and independently verifiable engineering data is hard to obtain.
