Hello

student here, question about fundamentals

I have a body and I have extracted its eigenmodes.

Upon this body, two forces acting – one is fluctuating 150 times per second between 9 – 11 kN (Amplitude of 1 kN around 10 kN), other is 140 – 160 kN (amplitude of 10 around 150) for 75 times per sec.

Question is: how to observe dynamic effects of such forces ? How to represent forces and what step is needed ?

see picture for details

thank you so much in advance !!!

regards

hey, one more question - in ANSYS wb there is a transient sturctural analysis - how can i perform that in abaqus ?

Abaqus has linear and also nonlinear transient dynamics. Nonlinear can mean implicit (Abaqus/Standard) or explicit integration (A/Explicit).

The linear transient dynamics procedure is called Modal Dynamics and is based on the eigenfrequencies of the model.
