Stud Spacing and Cement Board against Wind Load

My wall is 5.8m height and its supported from all four side i made the analysis for the wall in SAP2000 so maximum deflection in the center of the wall is 33 mm So my question is that does the 8 mm cement board is safe for this wall however stud spacing is 400 mm C/C and noging (horizontal members) spacing is 1200 mm.
any one can tell me how i can check the 8 mm cement board is sufficient or not???
wind load considered 0.90 KN/m^2
Stud Section C150-0.95
Cement Board Density is 1300 Kg/m^3
 
Follow the manufacturer's instructions.

Actually i don't know yet from where i will purchase cement board...
 
I would treat it the same as drywall. L/180 for lateral deflection. Which is just about where you're at.

If the cement board is intended to support more brittle finishes then you may want to tighten that up to L/360.

6m tall wall with 150 deep studs at 400 seems a bit of a stretch.

After 5m I really push for 200 deep studs with architects as it lets me use lighter gauge sections that are generally available off the shelf. Heavier gauge or wider flange C150 studs are typically considered special order and require more lead time and increased costs.

Above deflection criteria of the cement board is with respect to LGS wall and I agree with you, but how we can analyze the cement board individually.
Does the 0.4m x 1.2m support for 8 mm cement board is enough or not against 0.90 KN/m^2 wind? Any thumb rule?
By the way I reduced the lateral deflection from 33 to 20 mm by increasing the stud thickness.
 
With proper fastening I'm sure the cement board is capable of staying attached. It would have to do with the pullover value of the board and the fasteners.
 
By "cement board", I assume you mean a fibre cement sheet. So my first answer applies. Follow the manufacturer's instructions. There are different types of fibre cement sheets, and they have different strengths and fastening requirements.
