when welding structural beams to existing structure such as pipe rack will ASME sect 9 WPS and PQR be acceptable or is AWS WPS have to be used. In Texas.

What does the owner of the equipment require? It can go either way.

We've used both in Texas. Most owners will accept either. And we have worked with all the major refiners and chemical companies in Texas.
