Looking for reccommendations for a structural<br>
thermoplastic. Must meet<br>
or exceed these properties:<br>
<br>
-Weldable with high weld strength<br>
-Tensile strength = 30,000 psi<br>
-flexural strength = 50,000 psi<br>
-IZOD impact, notched = 5 ft-lb/in<br>
compressive strength = 30,000 psi<br>
normal op temp = -40 to 200 F<br>

Any help is greatly welcomed.

Celstran is a Ticona product line of fiber reinforced thermoplastic injection molding materials. A Celstran material which meets your requirements is PA66-GF50-02. This is a nylon 66, 50% long glass fiber by weight with the following properties:<br>

TS: -40°F = 49,700 psi<br>
72°F = 40,600 psi<br>
300°F = 22,200 psi<br>

FS: -40°F = 66,000 psi<br>
72°F = 59,100 psi<br>
