Hi, I'm a first time poster and I thought this would be a good place to get some help on a side project I'm working on.

I'm studying robotic/software engineering but this project I'm working on is more oriented toward structural engineers:

Civil/Structural Engineering Dimension Plan

- Detailed dimension plan that meets specifications

Task

Create a dimension plan for a Stone Cairn structure as seen below:
Stone_Cairn_oxhtej.jpg

Specifications/details:

- Height of approximately 6feet/182cm

- Calculate what base/initial circumference needs to be

- Calculate what widest circumference needs to be and where

- Calculate circumference at each point to determine required height

Final Dimension Plan example

The example below uses Solidworks 3D CAD design software to create the structure to scale and then uses 2D cross-sections to label dimensions:

- Use Solidworks or a similar software for this task

- Use the design principles implemented below as a guide for the Stone Cairn dimension plan

Notes:

- Please provide working/equations used where possible and a brief explanation as to how you approached this task
- I'm happy for either an explanation on how to approach this task or, since it's just a side project and outside my study field, i'm happy for someone to make an attempt at the dimension plan also.
