Can anyone help me out with evolution/development of Structural design codes for Tornado effect? Any related papers or links or any source of information is appreciated.

Is this for a student project?

I would begin with the Lubbock, TX F5 tornado of 1970. After which "wind engineering" was created at Texas Tech University which has led the way in this area.

@mssquared.... Nope. It's for a research-based Project

Look up a report written by the Structural Engineers Association of Kansas and Missouri regarding the Joplin tornado

Thanks everyone for their support and sources

International Code Council (ICC) has a specification/code. I believe it's ICC-500
