You need to get your hands on some Engineering Mechanics, Strength of Materials and Weld Design textbooks. Also, take a look at Omer Blodgett’s welding books, “Design of Weldments” and “Design of Welded Structures, published by the Lincoln Arc Welding Foundation. Then, you will learn that a fillet weld, for example, has a strength which is a function of its size (its leg size and/or its throat size) and the weld deposit material used in making the welding, and the materials the structure is made of. It really doesn’t matter much exactly what the structure is, the same weld design principles apply, except as the various design codes have special exceptions for their particular usage.

Dear dhengr,

Thanks your kindly reply. Can we use PVelite to calculate?

Best regards,
SK.

You're better of (and will learn faster) by doing this yourself in excel or something similar. In that way you actually learn what you do, instead using a black box piece of software like PVElite.
