Hello,

I wondered if any knows why my 2-D analytical rigid shell becomes a tube after running the analysis and would this affect my results?

See picture attached

You might be just viewing your results extruded not sure why all of them are not extruded.

Try view>odb display options>sweep/extrude

If that's not it try changing the view to XY>turn off perspective view> and crank up the deformation scale factor. to see if it is actually not moving.

I hope this helps.

Brill thanks, your firsrt suggestion "Try view>odb display options>sweep/extrude" worked.

Thanks again

Your welcome. Does this mean I need to come up with a pet name for you too? I don't think we are there yet.
