Hello,
I am trying to simulate a strain-controlled shear test to one element.
The model works in monotonic situation. When I am performing the cyclic, it does not display correct values.
I am constraining the bottom nodes of the model (ux=uy=uz=0) and the top I keep a constant height (uy=0) and uz=0 then I apply on x direction a prescribed displacement.
I apply the prescribed displacement in the BC section as it follows:
I define an amplitude based on a sinusoidal form. The displacement u1=1e-3 is applied under the previously defined amplitude.
However, after running the model, the top nodes displacement do not show the same sinusoidal amplitude - as expected.
What's the trick in defining such BC amplitude?
Thank you!
