Hi,

Can someone helps me to find/tell me where is the right procedure for the ITP(Radiography : spot, fully or 100%/Visual Inspection) of this pipeline's circumferential butt welded joints.

Thanks.

The ASME B31.4 or B31.8 code has requirements for the inspection of welds stating how much must be radiographed in various.

API 1104 is used as the welding standard for pipelines.

The right procedure is either as BI states or as written in the client specification.

For that line I would suspect 10% RT but depends if you're the client or the contractor....

Also: If you get a response it's polite to respond to it.

After the mobilization cost you can probably do all joints on the entire 6km for nearly the same price.

I'd do them all as, for such a short pipeline like that, it probably won't ever be very far from either end facilities or civilization.
