Storage tank High and Low level point

Dear professional

Our tanks store petroleum products such as Gasoline, Diesel, Kerosene.
And We don't use pumps when loading the product to truck.
We use the gravitational method(altitude difference) to loading the product.
Then, What is criteria for choosing high level and low level(HHLL-HLL-LLL-LLLL) inside storage tank?

Not sure about the low levels.

For the high side I'd use API 2350 to determine the maximum working level, the high-high level, the AOPS level and the critical high level. API has come up with their own names for all these levels, presumably to differentiate them from the traditional HHLL and HLL.

For tanks with floating roofs, you don't want to drop the floating roof level enough to operate the vents in normal operation, so that's one limitation on the low side.
Mixers or heaters in the tanks may have a minimum product level as well.

What is the maximum amount of time that you want to allow for loading ?

IS 2-3-4 hours loading time acceptable ??

What is the elevation difference between the bottom of the storage tank and the top liquid level of the tank on the truck ?

I would certainly install truck loading pumps .... they are not that expensive

Think of a loading pump as a safety device that can can help prevent spills and speed truck loading at your facilities ...
