I am looking for design criteria for designing industrial storage racks. I am primarily looking for impact forces to rack posts from fork trucks and seismic factors. Any help is appreciated. Thanks in advance. WDM

If it's in the USA, the governing design specification/standard is :SPECIFICATION FOR THE DESIGN, TESTING AND UTILIZATION OF INDUSTRIAL STEEL STORAGE RACKS (Latest edition:1997)". It's developed by the RMI (Rack Manufacturers Institute, Inc. You can also visit the following web site for more information.
