We are installing two PRVs in series to take 150 psig steam down to 30 psig for a heating steam distribution system. We have a location that is great for the PRV set except for one thing: we have no practical/safe way to vent the blowoff of the SRV. B31.1 apparently allows a fast acting trip valve in lieu of a SRV (or third PRV).
Does any one know of a manufacturer of a 6" stop valve meant to be used with a PRV set very far away from the boiler?
(Just in case you were curious, the SRV and PRV set is in a below grade walkable tunnel, and a pedestrian walkway/area is right above the SRV location).
Thanks!
