Hi,

How could we access to the stiffness matrice in Pro Mechanica?
I've launched an analysis and I would like to see it.
I've already checked the different .txt files, but didn't find anything, does anyone know if there is some way to do it?

Thanks!

Currently, we do not have access to the stiffness matrix. If PTC decides to provide flexible body capability to tie into their Mechanisms package, we may then have access to it. If enough users request it, they would evaluate how they would provide this data and likely move forward with this enhancement. Whatpurposewould youuse the stiffness matrix for?

I wish I had a better answer for you!

Cheers

Hi,
First thanks for answering me :).
My goal was to calculate the damping matrix according to the stiffness matrice given by Mechanica.
Guess I will try something else

Thanks a lot!

I seem to remember somethign in the properties of Shell elements.. maybe I misunderstand ( quite likley cos I havnet used FEA in a while!

) but you can access the ABD stiffness matrix of a material. Is that what you are looking for? look up shell property equations in the help. (it's too big to paste)
