stiffened cylinder design

I want to design a stiffened ring & stringer cylinder which can withstand certain axial, torsion and external pressure. Want some direction to continue. Initially i am not interested in min. weight design but certainly it will be the issue in future.so any recomendation in this regard is also welcome.
