Step file to Parasolid

What is procedure to convert step file to parasolid?
I will need to swap the new parasolid with old one which is connected
to drawing.

Start a new part file, import the step file. Save the file with the desired name. Open the drawing file and replace the old component with the new one. Reattach dimensions, section view cuts, etc as needed.

It is not clear why you need to convert the step file to parasolid.
