Step 7 v5.3 Licence Manager

I have just read that the licence manager for v5.3 differs greatly from the old AUTHORSW disk method of authorisation.

The Siemens blurb says that you can now have s7 installed on as many PC's as you like and you only pay for the number of licences required for simultaneous users. Surely this is the same as the old way ?

That is the same as the old way. What's different is that you can now transfer the key using a USB flash drive so if you don't have a floppy on your machine you can still transfer the license.
