Hi all,
I'm new in staad, in steel design does staad design the connection ?

Hi Kyut,
Which version of STAAD are you using? If you're using STAAD.Pro v8i then surely it has a utility of CONNECTION DESIGN and it's really an excellent utility for 3D connection design. It has intuitive interface as well as tutorials in the help menu.

I'm using staad.pro v8i .. another question, is the aluminum design in staad.pro v8i has the same principles with the steel design?

where I can find this connection design?

I think you need Bentley RAM Connection (or another 3rd party connection design application) - there is an interface between Staad.Pro and RAM Connection, but I don't believe Staad.Pro has any member connection design capability.

Hi Kyut and Jhardy1,
There is connection design option in STAAD called RAM Connection. I have just attached one image here for your reference only. I did a quick column to beam SP BCF type connection design. You can see from attached image that where connection design option is located.
