Anybody know of a supplier of a steam/water mixing valve that can handle 450 PSI steam? I can't find a valve rated to more than 150 PSI steam. I realize the valve must be large, industrial version. Would be interested in knowing if there is a manufacturer somewhere in the world.

Have you spoken with Pick Heaters? I have seen them build de-superheaters.

If you are desuperheating steam, Fisher makes an excellant series of desuperheaters, that don't self destruct.

good to know, we have 450 PSI steam year round, we reduce to 150 and 30 PSI mainly for heat tracing that we shutdown in the warmer months between April and November. We want to use a water/missing valve for floor washdown mainly, the issue is we need something year round and ideally something that will connect to the 450 PSI steam line directly. Pick Heaters has sent us an application survey. I will keep Fisher in mind though and thanks for the reply.
