Hello every one!

please help,

We need to purchase the Steam Trap for heat exchanger, if some one have any Idea of what type is more suitable?

service: LP Steam & Condensate
Line: LC2020-1" (1S1)
press. & Temp. 300#
trim material: S.S.
body m: C.S.
mesh Size: 1/32 holes/S.S.

Thanx

Moury

For a heat exchanger, you want to remove the condensate as soon as it is formed to maximise heat transfer capacity.

Common traps for this service would be an inverted bucket or a float type trap. The selection would prefer on your preferences, operating pressures (normal versus maximum) and required capacity. An open bucket is also a possibility but these are much less common than an inverted bucket.
