dear all,

i am working in chemical cleaning company and i am going to move steam blowing dept so i have some clarification in regarding of steam blowing
how to calculate the CFR value
here consider as only i have pressure and temp value during the blowing
pressure (ksc)= 18
temp(deg cel) =420
so how can calculate CFR

There are several websites (including this one) out there that provide a lot of information on this very topic.

I typed "Steam blow calculation" into Google and found a lot of good information. I suggest you review that and if you have specific questions.

Use GOOGLE to search for "steam blowing boiler CFR" .... then look at the third and fourth search results

Isn't it more difficult to post a question on the "eng-tips forum" than it is to use GOOGLE ???

Dear velkoki

CFR value is one of Fluid Dynamic force, please refer to following
the example calculation.
Ma at MCR 400,000 Kgf/hr
Mb at Blowing out 450,000 Kgf/hr
Va at MCR 0.2346 m^3/kgf
Vb at Blowing out 0.2346 m^3/kgf
CFR @ Mass Flow =(Mb/Ma)^2*(Vb/Va)=1.27

Generally, CFR value have to be greater than 1.1~1.2
