Static loading but general contact from explicit solver

Hello,

I want to do static loading test. But, due to complicated contact, analysis is not converging. So, i would like to use general contact algorithm (which is possible only in Dynamic explicit) but loading should be static. How could it be acheived? Is it possible? Hope i am not so stupid.

Have a look at "Chapter 7 Quasi-Static Analysis" in the Getting Started with ABAQUS/Explicit manual.
