static free solvent extraction line

Hi

what type of pipes would you recoment for a solvent extraction line? the solvent been pumped contain NO3, Cl, Na2CO3, H2SO4 and Entrained Organic Solvent.

the solvent is highly flammable and any sparks should be avoided at all cost. The pipes must be completely static free.

where can i find guidelines/ rules of thumb on static free pipelines regarding
-material
-flov velocity
-earthing
-others?
 
You have a combination corrosion/static accumulation problem. For piping materials to resist all these fluids, I believe your choices are limited to PTFE-lined or Z-Core epoxy piping. Hast. C piping would be the rich mans choice, I suppose. Since non-metallics offer the best economical choice for corrosion-resistance, then you are singularly facing a static-accumulation problem. I am unaware of any agency/standard to which one could refer for guidance for static dissipation. If anyone knows of such standards/guidelines, I'd appreciate a link. Placing Hastelloy, or less expensive conductive PTFE, grounding paddles between each flange and wiring the paddles to a common earth ground is a step in the right direction.
