I am looking for a statically Dissipative plastic to use with a Phosphate Ester hydrualic fluid. I have had good luck with Nylon 6/6 (Ultramid) in the fluid, but I can not find one that is statically dissipative. Any suggestions? Thanks

A number of people manufacture nylon grades with antistatic propoerties suitable for underground mining applications.

Off the top of my head, DSM, LNP (now part of Sabic) RTP and Duromer (I have a commercial association with Duromer) all make anti static nylons. SS fibre filled seems to be the best for good durable antistatic, but high surface area carbon black filled can also work.

Regards
Pat
