State-space eqn of a dc motor with Load, TL.

Can somebody help to derive the state-space equation for a conventional dc motor with load, TL. I've got the state-space for the dc motor without load from mathworks.com in the Control Toolbox Documentation and going no where when I want to include the load TL in the state-space.
