starting with VB

I would like to start to use VB in Wildfire5 or Creo1.

So, is there any tutorial somewhere I could use (just for
first steps).

PTC provides set of example to get started and for references.These can be found under vbapi directory , also vbug.pdf provides information about setup andAPI details.

So it's an API that can be used in VB for applications or
VB.NET.

Does someone knows if it's possible with all versions of
VB (for example .Net express) ?
My aim is to make a litle form to drive Creo.

Perhaps an other solution is more adapted like Java ?
