Hello,

I'm starting with the design of the suspension of a Formula Ford on radial Dunlop tires (2010). I am a mechanical engineer but I'm starting to study vehicle dynamics. I am a rookie[bigcheeks]. I wondered if you knew the value of some characteristic parameters, common for a Formula Ford. Camber, ride rate, spring rate, height of CG, unsprung weight...

Everything you ever wanted to know ( and much you did not know existed) about FF is available in print form (much of it translated to Spanish).
As a graduate engineer you should already have exhausted this potential before coming here.
Do your homework FIRST, then, if you are still at a loss, ask specifics. It's a 40 year history piece, the development of FF. It is so readily available from public sources. Google?

I searched for a long time. You can find front track, rear track, wheelbase, total weight, ect. That's easy. I want something more specific such as unsprung weight, toe, ride rate etc. This is more complicated.

I do not think this should be the last place to turn. It's one more. The important thing is to compare and verify the accuracy of the information it obtains.

No body here will write you a text book to answer sweeping questions.

You need to do the basic research then come back here when the basic stuff is known and you can ask specific details. You will get good replies at the top level.

You will get what it above and beyond the published or text book answers here, but you need to know enough to tweek the interests.

I'm not asking anyone explain to me any theoretical concept. That's not my problem. There are certain values that I need to know and not supplied by manufacturers.

I was trying to advise you how to best get help from this site. You seem to have miss read my intent. Good luck with your search.

Many years ago Tim Schenken wrote a book with the data you ask for. It may be out of date and out of print as it was back when the Kent engine was specified.
