Start up Ansys 6.0 seems to hang

Hallo everyone,

After I started up "Run Interactive Now", it takes long time (at least 5 minutes) to run apllication.

Do you know, how I may speed it up?
I'm using ANSYS 6/ANSYS 6.1 on WINNT4 and Windows 2000 - the same problem.

It depends only on your computer. Probably, you need to upgrade it or to buy an extra RAM. You can also increase the memory buffer to 128 & 64 MB respectively in INERACTIVE startup, close any other applications ect. Check "memory management" chapters.
