I have an old gantry crane with a hoist that runs on trolley wire. I needed to remove the trolley wire to paint the crane and replace the insulators. I am trying to determine if the trolley wires can be re-used after having their tension relieved. Any ideas on where I might find a standard that the trolley wires could be inspected against?
