I am looking for a way to standardize headers/footers on spreadsheets - for some reason I seem to think that you have to manually enter the headers/footers in for every page on a spreadsheet. Is there an easier way to do this?

Hello,

Why not create a macro and store it in your personal file?

Hope this helps.

You can also group sheets within a workbook by using Ctrl-left click to add additional tabs to your "active" sheets. You then set your header/footer in one of them, and they're all set the same. Don't forget to then right click on one of the tabs and select UNGROUP SHEETS when you're finished.

a couple of suggestions come to mind:

1) create a default workbook with headers/footers already present or

2) obtain from John Walkenbach's website his add-in that customizes headers/footers. the add-in is written in vba and is not copy-protected.

good luck!
