Is there a way to import different types of thread series designations for holes besides the basic three? (UNC, UNF, ISO) In particular I'm looking for UNJF types. I guess I could sketch these holes, but I'm sure there is some type of table.

The hole information is contained in tables.

There is an article on PTC's supoport site that mentions how to modify and create your own tables. There is a limitation in file naming. You can only use 3 characters for the file name and the extension must be .hol.

In config.pro, you need to define hole_parameter_file_path to point to the directory that holds your .hol files, if they are on a network drive.

I created one for NPT threads as well as modified the other files so the tap drill size was what our shop wanted. Ben Loosli

waiwiliki,
Here is one small bit of advice....
If you are creating custom thread "call outs" for your new .hol files, take your time getting the proper spaces and syntax in the call out section of the file. Pro/E must be restarted for the changes to take place-if you have made a mistake, it can be rather time consuming. I believe examples of "call out" syntax can be found through the Web link that Ben has mentioned above.

Best of luck
