Dear All,
with some adjustable parts, I get nasty delays (30-60 seconds lock-up) when trying to apply a placement relationship in an assembly (V20).
The parts are single protusions with adjustable extrusion depth.
This seems to occur when the profile is not completely basic (maybe 60 nodes/curves in the profile).
When I switch the part to Rigid, the delays are essentially gone.
I have switched off all the "goodies" in the View options, switched the render quality to Fastest, and choose e.g. Planar Align (as opposed to FlashFit) - still stalls.
So then I tried adding a Simplified Model, but it appears that one cannot Place Adjustable when viewing the simplified model (at least in V20).
Does anyone have any suggestions/cures?
(besides making a separate simplified part - as I worry about being able to Replace later without losing the placement relationships.)
