I am designing tubes/pipes, angles & I-beam shapes for use in waste-water tanks. I am using 316L stainless steel, A269/312 and A276. My questions are:
1. Where can I find a design guide, section properties, stresses for design of stainless steel, or similar information.
2. I have been told the yield strength (or perhaps, allowable stress) is 25 ksi, based on yield strengths found on Stainless Steel Industry of N. America. Is Allowable Stress design using AISC, for structural (carbon) steel, acceptable if there is no code or design guide?

Thanks in advance.
