Staad 2-D vs 3-D

Try checking the first line of your Input Command file. If you're using a Space structure, 3D should work. If it says your using a Plane structure then your model will only allow 2D analysis.
That's all I can think of that might be causing problems. If that's not it, perhaps you should contact STAAD's tech support. Good Luck!
