ST2 shaded views in draft not printing in colour

On drawings with shaded views my print outs are only coming out in black and white, on occasions a single view out of many may be shaded but its completely random. we did have a fix for this years ago but no one remembers what it was

I think I recall this being a registry edit.....check that you have the following registry string, if it's not there, you'll need to create it.
(if you're not comfortable editing the registry, please seek assistance locally, as errors can cause real damage to the system)

HKEY_CURRENT_USER/Unigraphics Solutions/Solid Edge/Version xxx[x's being your version number]/DEBUG
Name = PrinterPlgBlt
Type = REG_QWORD
Data = 0x00000001 (1)
